About domains

Domain registration for websites, businesses and brands

A domain name is the address of your website on the internet, so it is worth choosing a short, clear and memorable option from the start. On this page you can check domain availability, compare popular domain zones and move to registration without unnecessary steps.

If you enter a full domain such as `example.com`, the system checks that exact zone only. If you enter just a name without a dot, we search across the selected domain zones so you can quickly find the best fit for a company website, store, blog or landing page.

When choosing a domain, pay attention not only to availability but also to zone recognition, renewal cost, transfer options and how well the extension matches your niche. For Ukrainian businesses, zones such as `.ua`, `.com.ua` and `.kyiv.ua` are often useful, while international projects usually choose `.com`, `.net`, `.org` and other broadly recognized domains.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about domains

A domain name is a unique address of a website on the Internet used to access a web resource.

It consists of a name and a domain zone (such as .com, .ua, .net). A domain name can include letters, numbers, and hyphens ("-"), but it cannot start or end with a hyphen.

Example: svai.net, google.com.

When choosing a domain, consider the target audience of your project. For a website focused on Ukraine, Ukrainian domain zones are a good choice; for a city-based project, geographic domains may be suitable; and for an international website, popular zones such as .COM, .NET, .ORG or modern thematic domains can be considered .SHOP, .COMPANY..

However, the most important step is to choose the name you want to register and check in which domain zones it is available.

You can check availability and register a domain on our website in the “Domain Registration” section.

To transfer a domain to us, several required steps must be completed.

Before starting the transfer:

  • obtain the EPP code (authorization key) from your current registrar;
  • make sure the domain is not locked with clientTransferProhibited status;
  • ensure that the domain owner's contact email is valid and accessible;
  • disable Privacy Protection if it is enabled.

Then go to the “Domain Transfer” section on our website, enter your domain, select “Transfer”, and complete the order.

During the transfer, the domain is automatically renewed for one additional year, so the renewal fee must be paid.

For international domains: a confirmation request will be sent to the domain owner’s email and must be approved.

For Ukrainian domains: the transfer may be approved by the current registrar or completed automatically within 5–7 days.

If all conditions are met, the transfer usually takes 5–7 days.

Yes, we can register most domain extensions that are not listed on our website.

To check the availability and registration cost for such domain extensions, please contact our support team by email and specify which domain names you would like to register.

To transfer a domain to another registrar, a request must be submitted.

For individuals — a request and a copy of an identification document.

For companies — a request on official letterhead with signature and stamp, along with a copy of the director’s identification document.

To change the domain owner, you need to contact our support team and submit a request.

For individuals — a request along with a copy of an identification document is required.

For companies — a request on official letterhead signed by an authorized person (and stamped, if applicable), along with a copy of the director’s identification document.

After reviewing the request and verifying the documents, the ownership change will be processed.

Domain reservation without registration is not possible.

To secure a domain name, you need to place an order and complete the payment.

However, payment alone does not guarantee successful registration.

A domain is considered registered only after the registration process is fully completed. If an error occurs or the domain is registered by another party during the process, the payment will be refunded in full.

Yes, after registering a domain you will have access to DNS management through the control panel.

DNS records allow you to configure how your domain works — for example, point it to hosting, set up email, or connect external services.

You can manage the main types of records:

  • A record — points your domain to a web server;
  • MX record — handles email delivery;
  • CNAME — used for subdomains;
  • TXT record — used for verification and security settings (SPF, DKIM).

Changes are not applied instantly — DNS updates may take from a few minutes to several hours.

If a domain is not renewed before its expiration date, it will be deactivated, and both the website and email services will stop working.

Some domain zones provide a short grace period during which the domain can still be renewed at the regular price.

However, most European domain zones do not offer such a period, so it is recommended to renew the domain in advance.

If the renewal deadline is missed, the domain may enter a redemption state, where recovery requires an additional fee. If not restored in time, the domain becomes available for registration by others.

Name Servers (NS) are servers responsible for handling a domain and storing its DNS records.

DNS (Domain Name System) is a system that determines where a domain name points.

DNS records are used for:

  • pointing a domain to a server IP address (A record);
  • configuring mail servers (MX records);
  • linking subdomains (CNAME records);
  • domain verification and security policies (TXT records).

Changing name servers defines where your domain’s DNS records are hosted and managed.
